Wednesday Night Dinner
Are you interested in serving the poor of our city in word and deed? Join the “FBC Ragamuffins” to see how you might be involved! Opportunities include: Wednesday Night Dinner kitchen crew, friendship and evangelism ministry on Wednesday evenings, Wednesday night Bible study, Tuesday night Celebrate Recovery, and more. Tenderloin Ministry
A ministry among the homeless and urban poor that meets on Monday evenings for Bible study and encouragement. They also meet one Saturday a month spending an entire day participating in street ministry and evangelism—seeking to put into practice the teachings of Jesus. Contact

Breathe Respite Events
We host respite care events for families affected by disability. Come and work alongside us as we help care for these children and bless their parents with some time to “breathe”! We’re always looking for volunteers to help with set up and clean up, crafts, games, snacks and to serve as a “buddy” to the kids. For more information contact Cheryl Vidales at cvidales@fbcsf.org.

Global Ministry Team
Our GMT connects our entire body to the global work of our team by:

Evaluating the assets and interests of our body, and
Empowering them to use their talents in the global arena of missions

We are committed to strategic partnerships in our city and around the globe, and it is our prayer that many in our body will join us to reach the nations for Christ. It’s been said that in San Francisco, the nations have come to us. This gives us an exciting opportunity to minister to the nations on our doorstep. We are compelled by Christ’s love to continue going to the nations to share with people who have never heard the gospel. To that end, we send out teams who target a people group, city, or country and use their gifts to reach out to those who live there. We are specifically committed to San Francisco, Central and East Asia, South Asia, France, South America, and North Africa. Our commitment lies in seeing God at work in and through our body, where God has called people from our body out to the nations, and where we can make the greatest impact over several years.

Ministry Partnerships
FBC has city-wide partnerships with the following ministries.

YWAM/Because Justice Matters
Because Justice Matters works to end injustice by taking a stand against modernday slavery, domestic violence, discrimination against immigrants, and economic inequality.

Page Street Center
Page Street Baptist Center is a 1,600- square-foot bunker built into a San Francisco hillside. The modest facility is a haven for the homeless, runaways, unwed mothers, street kids, drug addicts, and anyone in need of love and respect.

International Students, Inc.
International Students, Inc. exists to share Christ's love with international students and to equip them for effective service in cooperation with the local church and others.

Alpha Pregnancy Center
A loving, supportive organization that helps women and families in the Bay Area face unexpected pregnancy.

First Resort
First Resort is a Pregnancy Consulting Women’s Health Clinic. They provide counseling and medical care to women who are making decisions about unintended pregnancies.

InnerCHANGE
A community of missionaries living in poor, marginalized neighborhoods around the world. They seek to live out the good news of Jesus among the poor, both with words and deeds.

CityTeam
For years, CityTeam Ministries has been helping people with their personal addiction. As you can see by their website, they have locations for both men and women. Their live-in residential programs are ninemonths
to two year programs that offer the ability to overcome the vice-grip of addiction with the help of in-depth individual and group counseling, classes and training courses.

Gideons International
Gideons focuses on distributing Bibles and New Testaments. These Scriptures are printed in more than 80 languages and are either given directly to certain individuals or placed in selected public locations where large numbers of people who may be searching for answers will have the ability to encounter the Word of God.

Jews for Jesus
Jews for Jesus exists to make the Messiahship of Jesus an unavoidable issue to Jewish people worldwide. Located blocks from the church our ministry partnership is one of great importance.
