Wednesday Night Dinner
Leader: Tim Wiarda firstname.lastname@example.org
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor."
Every Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m. we share a family-style meal with some of the hungry and homeless of our city. Our vision for this time is to provide a safe and friendly environment where people can share a meal, connect with friends, and experience the love and hope of Jesus. Opportunities to volunteer include: shopping at Costco or Cash & Carry (usually at about 1:00 p.m.), kitchen help (prep beginning at 2:00 p.m.), friendship and evangelism ministry during the meal, and clean-up and dishes help after the meal.
Come explore the Word of God with us at 3:45 p.m. before Wednesday Night Dinner. Not your every-day small group, this is a place where people from all kinds of different backgrounds and life experiences get together to sing, study the Bible, and pray together each week. Facilitated by Tim Wiarda.
