Elementary age Children have their own worship at 9am. They also participate in the beginning of the adult service and then are dismissed to go to their classes at about 11:00.
All of our children's programs are taught by volunteer leaders that have a passion to see children grow in their knowledge of God. We use a curriculum that is Biblically sound, age appropriate, and relevant to the lives of elementary age kids. Take home sheets and application activities are sent home weekly to encourage discipleship and reinforcement of truths learned at church. All of our children's ministry volunteers receive a background check before working with us.
FirstKids Worship -- 9:15am
This is a worship experience that is uniquely designed for Elementary age students (through 5th grade). The focus of this time is to parallel the scripture and applications that are taught by Pastor Ryan in the 10:30 Worship Service. Children have the opportunity to worship and learn about God's Word in a way that is both age appropriate and fun!!
Sunday School Classes -- during the sermon
1st/2nd grades-- ClubHouse
3rd-5th grades - Children's worship room
In these elementary classes a high emphasis is placed on Bible teaching and on being sensitive to the spiritual needs and development of each child. Memory verse activities, games, and crafts are used to help reinforce Bible truths.
On the occasional 5th Sunday in a month, elementary children's classes during the service do not meet. This is an opportunity for these children to participate with their parents and the rest of the congregation in the entire worship service.
