I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have POWER, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. -Ephesians 3:17-19

Mission
The mission of Small Groups at FBCSF is to unite people in Christ-ward transformation through fellowship with others where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God.

Purpose
The purpose of Small Groups is to foster unity among the believing body at FBCSF
through:

�Building relationships within the larger church community
�Spiritual growth and discipleship
�Teaching of the Holy Scripture
�Ministry to one another
�Reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ

Small Groups are where the people of God can be involved in the life and ministry of the church.

Acts 2:46-47 offers the foundation upon which our small groups ministry is built:
“ Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

We offer an ever-expanding number of small groups throughout the Bay Area. Most of these meet in homes on weeknights for the exclusive five-fold purpose of spiritual growth, community, worship, service, and going to the ends of the earth with the Good News of the Gospel.

Meeting on Sunday mornings from 9-10
these groups offer another place for discipleship to occur and to explore a variety of topics including:

Evangelism Groups
Evangelism: Joyfully sharing the good news of the sovereign love of God; calling people to repentance and personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord! What is God’s role? What is mine? How do I share my faith with my non-believing friends? Each quarter we step out on a church-wide journey of exploring these and other questions in sharing our faith.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the healing
power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Join us for a twelve-step meeting Higher-Powered by Jesus! Tuesday nights from 7-8 pm.

Sunday Morning Prayer Group
Join a group of members in the prayer chapel as they pray over the cares and concerns, joys and triumphs of our Body.
